Harley Street Medical Practice Redecoration

The Challenge

The practice could not close during the works, so all painting had to be completed outside of consultation hours, primarily during evenings and weekends. The use of low-odour, quick-drying paints was essential to ensure no residual paint smell during patient appointments. Medical equipment and furnishings required meticulous protection.

Our Approach

We developed an out-of-hours schedule, working from 6pm to midnight on weekdays and full days at weekends. All furniture and medical equipment was individually wrapped in protective sheeting each evening and uncovered before the first appointment the next morning. We used exclusively low-VOC, quick-drying paints to eliminate any lingering odour. Walls were finished in calming, neutral tones while consulting room doors were painted in a distinguished dark blue to complement the practice's branding.

The Result

The practice was redecorated over three consecutive weekends without a single appointment being cancelled or disrupted. Patients and staff have remarked on the refreshed, welcoming atmosphere, and the practice director has noted an improvement in patient feedback scores.
