New-Build Luxury Apartment Finishing

The Challenge

New-build properties present their own set of challenges, including fresh plaster that requires specific treatment, joinery that may still be acclimating to indoor conditions, and the need to work around other trades completing their installations simultaneously. The shadow-gap detailing throughout the apartment demanded absolute precision, as any paint bridging the gap would be immediately visible.

Our Approach

All new plaster was allowed to cure fully before being mist-coated with a diluted emulsion to seal the surface. We then applied two full coats of premium matt emulsion. Internal doors were removed, placed on trestles, and spray-finished in a dedicated dust-free area we created within the apartment. Shadow-gap junctions were masked with specialist narrow masking tapes and finished using a combination of spraying and careful brush work. We coordinated closely with electricians and plumbers to ensure touch-up work was completed after their final fix.

The Result

The show apartment opened to prospective buyers with a finish that set the benchmark for the entire development. The developer subsequently engaged us to complete all remaining apartments in the building, a testament to the quality achieved on this initial unit.
